Designs

Each piece is handmade in my New Hampshire studio. Due to the handmade nature of these items, as well as the natural elements used in the making of these designs the size, shape and colors may vary.

Beach Stone

The beach stones are selected from the local New Hampshire Beaches. Stones consist primarily of granite and slate. The stone colors range from light to dark grey with deep blue undertones. The natural color may turn to dark black once it comes in contact with the natural oils from the skin. Depending on the design, some stones are hand shaped.

Leather
I use only the highest quality Greek Leather cord in the creation of my pieces. When it comes to leather cord, Greek Leather is of the highest quality available. Known for its smooth finish, consistent color, and supple texture.

Waxed Irish Linen Cord

I use only the highest quality waxed linen thread imported from Ireland. Although is appears to be very delicate, the linen used in these peices has a strength up to 25lbs.

Fair Trade Karen Hill Tribe Silver:

Incredible silver beads and findings created completely by hand in the remote mountain areas of Thailand. Made using centuries-old, traditional methods in distinctive Hill Tribes styling. These are made of a higher purity than 92.5% sterling silver. Because the actual range is 95-99% purity, it is softer, has a whiter color and will not tarnish as readily as sterling silver.

The vendors that I work with are committed to Fair Trade. They are dedicated to preserving the culture of the Thai craftsman and artisans. In making their silver designs they will never compromise the artisans safety or lifestyle and they give back to the community by funding many projects for the Karen Hill Tribe Villagers of northern Thailand.

Care & Cleaning:

The silver used in these pieces is 99% silver. To clean, please use Lime Juice. The acidity in lime is strong enough to clean 100% silver to a shine while still maintaining the oxidized state that is used it the detail work.

Returns and Exchanges

Jewelry may be returned for a full refund, less postage, within 30 days, if it is in its original condition and packaging. Please contact me at contact@christinewest.net if you wish to return or exchange a piece.

Shipping & Handling

Most pieces are made to order and will ship within 7 days. If you require an order sooner, please contact me at contact@christinewest.net to discuss a rush order.

Jewelry will be shipped Priority Mail through the USPS at the current rate of $4.95. Currently we only ship within the U.S.
