What do you tell people about yourself?

I live in the beautiful seacoast area of New Hampshire with my husband, daughter, sweet old yellow lab and cuddly yet meowingly annoying cat.

I have been dabbling with writing my entire life and Beyond the Mooring is my first completed work.  

I have finally found the secret to completing that long suffering novel... I got out of my own way! I stopped waiting for the perfect time to write and just set time aside everyday to do it.  My greatest aha moment was when I stopped worrying about what others will think and just wrote down what was in my head.

There will be people who do not like what I write.

I don't like black licorice and there a millions of people who love the stuff.  I am writing for myself.  I hope you like it too.
